A little bit about myself...
Hi I'm Shannon Marie Thompson, I love watching people find more peace, achieve their goals and just feel happier. My passion is finding unique ways to help people heal. I have a background as a kundalini yoga instructor, a NeurOptimal® basic neurofeedback trainer, and as a life coach. I hold an unwavering belief in the potential of the human spirit and a decade of experience in both counselling and community work.
I use the following approaches and tools: mindfulness, neurofeedback, yoga, CBT, ACT, attachment theory, and positive psychology to help clients calm their nervous system, gain profound self-insight and cultivate inner peace. Whether confronted with anxiety, depression, relationship complexities, or personal stagnation, I am a support, helping you identify strengths, work through challenges, and guiding you toward embracing your inherent wisdom within.
I have personally experienced NeurOptimal® and the flexibility and resilience it brings. I have found that NeurOptimal® helped to calm my central nervous system and function more optimally. I feel so grateful to be able to share this amazing tool with others, in a caring and compassionate space.
